1. If you walk with your back towards the vehicles a car might hit you. Sometimes their breaks don't work all of a sudden. Sometimes they don't see you so there's a big chance they might run over you and you'd be dead.

2. You might wined up in the woods and get lost. You might not be able to find your way back home and you could get eaten by wild animals.

3. Many people find it annoying when strangers beg for a rides. They don't know if you're gonna rob them or if you're armed with a knife or a hand gun. Even if you'd never carry weapons or you'd never hurt anyone those people don't know you so how would they know wether they're in danger or not?

4. It's dangerous to ride in a vehicle with a stranger. Some strangers won't hurt you or anyone else. But most of the time when a stranger picks you up it's for hurting you one way or another. They might beat you. They might rob you. They might kidnap you. They might rape you. They might murder and throw you in the woods or somewhere deserted.
