For some people, it's not. For others it is not enough punishment for the bringing about the death of a loved one. Since we are a democracy the majority of the people say that capital punishment is justifiable homicide. Everybody has to decide for themselves. And there is never just a 'black and white' solution. Life is full of many shades of gray.
