In the United States, the founders sought to create a democratic republic where by the country was governed by rule of law rather than by rule of men. It was deemed impractical to have a direct democracy where all citizens had a vote in all matters. Instead power was given to elected representatives from each state. The founders feared the power of one unitary executive therefore the most power was given to the Legislative Branch as a whole.
Reading the Federalist Papers would shed more light on this concept.
the legislative
Legislative is the most powerful of the three as it is the Law making body..
The State Constitution made the legislature branchthe most powerful.
In legal issues yes. However the congress legislative is the most big event.
No Branch was more powerful each branch could stop the other one
The Legislative Branch.
The Speaker of the House is considered the most powerful member of Congress because they lead the House of Representatives, set the legislative agenda, and have significant influence over the direction of legislation.
all three branches are powerful but the executive branch has the most power
The most powerful members of Congress are typically the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader. They influence legislative decisions by setting the agenda, determining which bills are brought to a vote, and leading their respective chambers in debates and negotiations. Their positions give them significant control over the legislative process and the ability to shape the direction of policy-making in Congress.
Its more powerful because it does all the government work
they are all equal power
the legislative branch has the most legislative duties because it is in the name : )
