(in the US) Only government agents properly authorized by a judicially issued warrant have the legal authortiy to search a residence. In order to obtain such a warrant they must prepare an affidavit to present to a judge, setting forth the specific probable cause supporting the request. If the judge does not find sufficient probable cause to issue the warrant the affidavit will be denied.
No. A search warrant can be executed regardless of whether anyone is at home or not.

If you're on probation then they have the right to enter your home. Also if they have a search warrent.
This means that there are limits on when and how the police can search your home, for instance, and take evidence.

Police searches of your home are not legal uness they have a warrant, which has to be signed by a judge. If the police want to search your home, and they do not have a warrant to do so, then you have the right to refuse to let them search your home. If they do so without a warrant, and without your permission, then anything they find cannot be used against you, since the evidence was obtained illegally.
Your home is your home. The emotional/spiritual balance of a home is more delicate than most people think. You have the right to ask anyone to leave, the same as you have the right to decide who to invite in. If someone is loud, disruptive, or drunk you are well within your rights to ask them to leave, why then should you think it rude to ask someone who carries a "bad spirit" or negative energy to leave?
