When a probation officer visits a house, sometimes he feels he might be in danger. Sometimes he is dealing with a person he feels is a dangerous criminal. Sometimes he wants backup. After all, good honest law abiding citizens are not on probation. Crooks, thieves, robbers, and murderers are on probation. Some of those people and their friends are dangerous. As a result, sometimes probation officers have police officers work with them.
Depending on the state it would be the chief probation officer or the judge.
"An alcohol breath tester would be purchased by a police officer or an administrator of a police department, by probation officers, even by parents who are worried that their children are drinking and driving."
i'd' say a judge does they have the say in whos going to jail
The plural form is... 'officers in charge'.
There are police officers in almost every city and county of the world.
what would my work enviornment, or surrondings,be like to be a police officer
No. Not really, unless its like an exclamation like "I HATE POLICE OFFICERS!" then yea you would.
police officers have a criteria on this. On the other hand, for an officer of the law, it would be unethical not to arrest someone he has seen comiting a crime.
After. A person is not on probation until they are sentenced to probation by the Court. Why would they get a probation officer until they are sentenced?
here are four different character types in police officers; bad character, under controlled character, self-controlled character, and the excellent. A police officer with bad character would be a person that abuses his authority. This type of officer would be an officer that would confiscate drugs and then resell them for his own profit. An uncontrolled officer is similar to a bad officer. These officers are easily pure pressured into becoming bad police officers. Sometimes they fall into the bad side by just knowing they may be able to make more money by breaking the law such as dealing drugs. The self-controlled officer is an officer that knows that people are making huge profits off of breaking the law but does not participate no matter what the profit is. Sometimes these officers can become depressed because they are struggling with doing the right thing. Last, there is the excellent officer. This is a police officer who is secured with who he/she is. They do not care about money, they care about honesty. Their day to day life is all about honesty. This type of officer knows exactly who they are and are proud of it.
i would like to know if a probabtion officer has a probationer falsely detained and jaile dare there consequences for the probation officer? and if not how can we report information on a probation officer legally?
Where I live this is a little more complicated than you would think.Police officers are under the law "Peace Officers"There are several other Officers that are Peace Officers as well.Rail Way police, Highway patrol, Truancy etc.So you have to be careful because they have the same protection under the law as Police.Don't punch or spit on one, it doesn't go well.
