Actually, that is only partially correct. It is true that New Jersey doesn't recognize any other states' permits, however, almost every other state does. With a TN permit, I can carry legally in 38 or 39 states. Each state is different though. A state that recognizes Tennessee's permit may not recognize some other state's permit.
