Assuming Mom has custody, then she would have to agree to let daughter move in with you OR you would have to petition the court for a change of custody.
In Missouri it can be.
Not if the parents are not divorced. You have to get pregnant first.
No, she is still a child. The parents are still responsible for her.
If they are your own child there is none
The State child support agency can file a lien on the house.
Unless specifically addressed in the child support order, it's dependent on state law. Joining Dads House in Yahoo Groups can help in learning your rights. See related link
Yes, you are paying child support because it is yourduty/obligation to provide for support your of child. You seem to be wanting to shift your responsibility for supporting your child onto your daughters boyfriend and this is not possible as, until your daughter is an adult, responsibility for her remains with you and the custodial parent.
I would say that it depends on the situation. If the child has moved out and is independent of the mother, than I would say no. child support is for the child not for the mom. In another light, you may need to pay the support to the child directly into an account of that particular child. i may be wrong. this is a question for a lawyer. Make sure you look at the child support laws for your state also. Good luck dude!
Yes, he does. It is his child and your grandchild. If he was adult enough to create the child he is old enough to support it and as his parent it is now your problem. You obigation to pay the child support, if he cannot, is dependent on state laws. In Missouri, the girl can sue both you and her own parents for child support. Also, paying or not, he has no legal rights to the child. To learn how to address the isses he will be facinging, go to Dads House in Yahoo Groups. see links
Yes, but you need to be the child's legal guardian. I am raising my two grandkids. Their mother does not live in my house. I collect child support from my ex son-in-law for his and my daughters 2 children. I went to the Department of Human Services with a copy of my custody paper and they set it up so that I get the support payments from him. My daughter however, does not pay support to us. I think the state is just now going after her for support. But, yes it can be done. Check with your local Department of Human Services, or whatever the equivalent is in your area. Good luck.
No. Child support is paid by absent parents.
