Why bother writing to your boyfriend in prison? Better to move to a new address, sever ties with him and his felon friends and find a new law-abiding boyfriend that has life goals, no arrest records, is not angry or abusive, has a job, a career in mind, a car AND insurance, and no gang affiliations.

If you do insist on writing to your inmate boyfriend, why not suggest he take advantage of the wonderful opportunity to take some classes in order to be released back into the real world with better opportunities to succeed. Suggest he do a lot of thinking in there, make some positive goals for himself and the rest of his life. A wake up call and chance to make something of himself and gain some self esteem. And wish him well and goodbye.

Be advised that most repeat offenders of anything have mental illness issues. Do you really want to deal with this and possibly pass this on to your unborn children?

Next take a check on your own self...build your self esteem so that you do not feel the need to be with someone so low life as to do illegal things that land them in jail...

You deserve better. And no child deserves to be brought into this world with a father in jail/prison to follow in his footsteps.
