Legally speaking it depends on the details of what kind of public place and what you were doing there.
Unless the location is truly a government-owned location (e.g.: park, street, sidewalk, etc - clearly a "public" place) -- businesses which invite people to come and visit and/or do business (e.g.: stores, shopping malls private parking lots, etc) are not truly "public" places as in the first example. They are best described as "places to which the public is invited," and are, in fact, private property.
The owners/managers of this private property CAN control who they wish to remain there and if you refuse to leave at their request they can have the police take action to remove you.
In practice however, the answer boils down to "yes," the police CAN do so.
Attempting to stand on what you perceive to be your legal rights (which may or may not really exist... depending on the details) could result in your being arrested and charged with something such as 'trespass.' In many cases the status offense, of "Disorderly Conduct" suffices as a charge (i.e.: If you aren't acting in an "orderly" manner, then you're disorderly)
Don't worry. if you are in a public place on the internet right now to ask this question, then they have stopped looking for you.
kick them out call the cops have someone else take them home IMMEDIATELY
Kick their door in, and invade their privacy. Yeah then they can call the cops and get you arrested.
then you go and kick that person and repposses that car.... They call cops and you ignore those guys....
Sure they can. If they have reason to believe that you pose a danger to themselves and/or the public, they can kill you.
In the case of a place such as a penalty kick the ball can sit in a small plastic cradle or pile of sand.

no. unless its in a really busy street, the the cops will tell you to move. or ifits in a private property, people will probably kick you out
Kick them out and if they don't leave call the cops.
kick him in the balls and say why are u so idiotic and get out of my house before i call the cops
It's called a boot.
No. A kick following a score or to start either half has to be taken as a free kick.
