FBI Agents are not paid by the hour, they are salaried. FBI Agents all graduate the Academy at GS-10, step 1. In addition, they receive additional locality pay and LEAP (Law Enforcement Availability Pay) which is an additional 25% of your base salary. A new FBI agent's total pay can be over $70,000 a year, and they are expected to work at least 50 hours a week.
