it depends on what the situation is, for example if you forged a note excusing work or school, probally not. if this was a forged check and it got cashed, you can expect to be arrested as this is a felony.
If the forgery charge against you was actually dismissed, then you were not convicted, and although the record of your arrest still exists so, also, does the record that the charges were dismissed.
Yes, especially if the crime is of significant proprotion. If a warrant for his arrest is entered into NCIC he will eventually be arrested and they will extradite him.
Nobody can press charges against you except the prosecutor, if they decide to pursue the case a warrant will be issued for your arrest.
Yes. Often crimes are prosecuted on a citation rather than a formal arrest.
Individuals cannot "take out charges' or "file charges" against anyone. Only a prosecutor may do these things. You must first report the offense to law enforcement who will then invistigate and if the suspect named in your report is found to be valid, they will then arrest that person. When that person is presented in court, the prosecutor will then file charges against them.
assault charges. they went too far
Arrest and jail time.
Private individuals can NOT "press charges" against anyone. Only the prosecutor's office can bring charges. The most the victim can do is REPORT the alleged offense to law enforcement who will then take the necessary action. After having made a report which results in an arrest and prosecution, as the victim (i.e.; complaining witness) you will be required to testify as to the offense committed against you.
The only way is by turning yourself in to law enforcement and facing and defending yourself against the charges against you.
I believe the Statute is "suspended" indefinitely if there is an actual arrest warrant for an individual who is now viewed as a fugitive. The theory is that a person should not benefit from failing to answer a charge against him/her. The statute of limitations usually applies to the time allowed to bring charges against someone.
Citizens can NOT "file charges." Only prosecutors can file charges against somebody. You could make an official report to the police and they would investigate the matter and if the investigation supported your allegation,. either make as arrest (if appropriate) or apply for a warrant.
If that is against the law, yes.
