The United States have a wide variety of different federal agencies which currently operate. One of the most well known federal agencies is the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act within federal agencies is outlined in Executive Order 12196, which mandates that federal agencies establish their own safety and health programs. This order requires agencies to adhere to the standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and to develop policies that promote workplace safety and health. Additionally, federal agencies must report on their safety and health performance and ensure employee training and hazard communication. Regular inspections and evaluations are also conducted to ensure compliance with these guidelines.
