Yes. But the law requires that you not carry them openly and out in public. In fact that is the law in every state. As long as you use them carefully for their intended purpose, you are fine. It is not against the law to possess them and use them in the privacy of your own home.

∙ 11y agoMissouri does not specifically mention "nunchucks" by name in their weapons offenses provisions. The only weapon which would be similar is a "blackjack", which is defined as follows:
A blackjack", is defined as any instrument that is designed or adapted for the purpose of stunning or inflicting physical injury by striking a person, and which is readily capable of lethal use (Missouri Revised Statutes).
"Nunchucks" would probably fall within the definition of a "blackjack."
However, the Missouri statutes do not make it a crime to simply own a "blackjack." Missouri only makes it a crime to carry a concealed "blackjack."
So, it would only be illegal if you carry concealed nunchucks on your person.
