If the verb is plural, it will NOT have an s at the end. The noun will have an s at the end but the verb won't.

Example: The girls run.

Now, if noun is singular, it won't have an s, but the verb will.

Example: The girl runs.

There are some irregular verbs, but in general, most verbs follow this rule of thumb. :)

How can you tell if the verb is singular or plural?

You can tell if a verb is singular or plural by looking at the subject of the sentence. If the subject is singular (e.g., "he," "she," "it"), the verb should also be singular (e.g., "runs," "sings"). If the subject is plural (e.g., "they," "we," "the dogs"), the verb should be plural (e.g., "run," "sing").
