It's asking what you are like/who you are. (to describe yourself) So you would answer with Soy ____ then a personality trait.

Example: Soy simpático. (I am nice.)

Extension:

Como eres means, literally, "How are you?" But in context, it means "Whatare you?" as in "What are you like?"

Como eres can be answered with a Soy ____, where the blank is either a personality trait or something that is (relatively) permanent and does not change very quickly.

Ex.

Soy un profesor. (I am a professor.)

Soy un estudiante. (I am a student.)

Soy inteligente. (I am intelligent.)
