Depends on how incorrectly you speak it. If you say "This is my mom" and you do the tone wrong and say "This is my horse" (not really a good example) people will laugh at you loud and long, but not be offended. If you butcher the language shamelessly and intentionally then they will probably take offense.

lol was really a cool word then. people used to say it because they used to laugh out loud and you dont want to say LAUGH OUT LOUD coz its tooo long so ppl say LOL haha lol i felt like putting this on here i was sooo BORED.
LoL is not a real word, yet an abbreviation for "laugh out loud".not really.but laugh out loud is.
