Do you want "Your name is Gloria" or "My name is Gloria"? I will go through both, just in case. The proper sentence structure for "Your name is Gloria" in ASL is "You name Gloria, you".

This is done by: You - With your dominant hand, point at the person you are meaning to call Gloria.

Name - With the middle-finger side of the right H hand(dominant H hand) across the index-finger side of the left H hand, move the hands forward in an arc in front of the body (Tap twice).

Gloria - Names are done by first finger spelling the name and then giving the name symbol, if you have an ASL nickname. If you are giving someone one, the symbol is usually the first letter of their name while preforming some other sign. (For example, if Gloria is always really happy, her ASL name could be the sign for happy with hands modified into the sign for G instead of hands flat like they usually are for happy. (As you don't seem to know much ASL, I would suggest just sticking with finger spelling the name for now.))

Here is how to do that (all letters are done with your dominant hand):

G - Curl all but your pointer and thumb into a fist. Your pointer and thumb point the same direction, towards your other arm. The two fingers are parallel to each other.

L - Make an L with your pointer and thumb, with your pointer finger up and your thumb to the side and all other fingers curled into a fist.

O - Make an O shape using all your fingers.

R - All but the pointer and middle fingers are curled into a fist. Now cross your pointer and middle finger and leave them pointing up.

I - Curl all but your pinky into a fist, leave the pinky pointing up. Make sure not to be shaking or move your I around, because a J is similar to an I but with movement.

A - Make a fist with your thumb on the side pointing upwards.

Then you say "you" again so people know you've finished your sentence.

If you are saying "My name is Gloria" the proper ASL structure is "Me name Gloria, Me". It is all done the same, except for instead of pointing at the person you're calling Gloria, you point at yourself.

(Unless you have already been given an ASL nickname, it is common practice to NOT name yourself, but let someone else name you. If you have no ASL nickname already, just stick with finger-spelling your name.)
