If you want to know how to learn Spanish, one of the best ways to learn Spanish is to immerse yourself in the language and culture. This is an easy technique for anyone able to move to a Spanish speaking country. If you are not able to move to a Spanish speaking country, then the next best thing is to make friends with as many Spanish speakers as possible. Make it clear to them that you only want to speak Spanish and request that they do the same.
You will also need a good home-study course. You have to be careful because most
mainstream Spanish courses that you see advertised on TV do not teach the same
Spanish that Spanish-speakers speak. They will be able to understand you when
you speak Spanish but once you hear them speaking among themselves you will
be absolutely clueless. I have used dozens of home-study courses. I have only
found a handful that teach real conversational Spanish. My favorite for
learning everyday or conversational Spanish is Learning Spanish Like Crazy:

If you are an adult learning Spanish, you will find that it is also necessary
that you learn Spanish grammar. Children can pick-up languages without ever
studying grammar. But adults will need to learn Spanish grammar in order
to get a solid grasp of the language and in order to understand how to conjugate
Spanish verbs. Conjugating Spanish verbs is indeed the most difficult
thing to learn in the Spanish language. If you are like me, and you prefer software over books then I suggest that you get a copy of the Verbarrator in order to learn how to conjugate the verbs:

My final advice is that you try to watch as much Spanish television programs
as possible. Watching the "novelas" or Spanish soap operas is an excellent
way to learn. At first you may not understand much of the novelas, but
after listening for at least a year, you will be surprised at how much Spanish you have learned.
So that´s it. Immerse yourself in the language/culture, get a self-study course that covers everyday or conversational Spanish, buy a Spanish grammar
book or software, and watch lots of Spanish television programs.
It's Spanish, and if used in a sentence by itself, it means "You like to learn Spanish." If it's used as part of a question, it means "Do you like to learn Spanish?"

The best way to learn conversational Spanish is to immerse yourself in the language as much as possible. This can include practicing speaking with native speakers, listening to Spanish music or podcasts, watching Spanish movies or TV shows, and using language learning apps or online resources. It's important to practice speaking and listening regularly to improve your conversational skills.
I think it'd be easier to learn Spanish but it'd more interesting to learn Portuguese. I want to learn stuff where it isn't the norm.If you are going to learn ONE language, you will find that Spanish is much more useful. It is also a bit easier to learn. However, if you want to learn BOTH, learn Portuguese first and then later learn Spanish. The good thing about Portuguese is that once you know it you can understand Spanish as well (not perfectly, but a good portion of it). This does not work in reverse, Spanish speakers can understand almost nothing of Portuguese.I am currently in Brazil learning Portuguese for the same reason: it is more out of the norm to know Portuguese than to know Spanish. I stand out and I like that. However, after learning Portuguese I know that it will be relatively easy for me to learn Spanish, so that will be my next goal.Portuguese is much more harder to understand depending on your origin. If you're american or english, I'm pretty sure Spanish is a lot easier, as HUNDREDS of english words originated from Spanish. On the other hand, if you're from eastern europe (Romanian, Ukrainian, etc.), Portuguese will be a walk in the park, since there's many alphabetical and phonetical similarities. Besides, phonologically and even in written terms, spanish is much more fluent and easy to grasp than portuguese anyway.
