Waving your middle finger up and down in American Sign Language is considered a vulgar and offensive gesture known as "the bird" or commonly known as flipping someone off. It is not used to communicate in a respectful or polite manner.
It depends on which sign language, but if you are are talking about ASL (American Sign Language), you would make a saluting gesture, usually with two fingers (the index finger and the middle finger together).
Gesture Your Hand In A Waving Motion!Just wave. :)Then hi is the same thing. Just wave.
1. make an H - point the first 2 fingers forward 2. flip them quickly to an I - pointing the little finger upward
In American Sign Language (ASL), you can sign "I miss you" by signing "I" (pointing to yourself), then signing "miss" (waving your hand near your chest), and finally signing "you" (pointing to the person you are addressing).

This is one of my most favorite signs because the meaning is so beautiful. In Sign, 'forever' is 'always still (as in motionless)'.1. Make an 'O' with 4 fingers, and point your index finger straight up. Touch it to your forehead, and make little circles as you move it slightly away. (forever)2. Make a Y... the 3 middle fingers pointing down, and the thumb and little finger pointing out. Move it slowly and slightly away from you (still)_________________________________________________________________I sign I know is: Wave the right index finger, palm in, in a circle in the air.
To say "hello mother" in American Sign Language (ASL), you would sign "HELLO" followed by signing "MOTHER." This can be done by waving your hand in front of your face for "HELLO" and then placing an open hand on your chin for "MOTHER."
