That depends on the lagnuages that you already know. For example, if you already have a reasonable knowledge of Russian, the answer might well be Polish. For most native speakers of English with a knowledge of French or Spanish (and no other foreign language) German is generally regarded as the easier of the two.
Whether Czech is easier than Polish is a question that will be dependant of the circumstances. For instance, Slovaks find it easier to understand Polish. Anyone can learn any language and it becomes easier for them.
Both German and French have their difficulties. This is also a matter of personal background, but both French or German vocabularies are reasonably easy to learn for an English speaker. I tend to think that German grammar is rather hard to master.
No, Podolski is actually a Polish surname but Lukas Podolski is a former German football player of Polish descent.
"Ich liebe dich" means "I love you" in German, not in Polish. In Polish, "I love you" is "Kocham cię."
The difficulty of learning German or Spanish can vary depending on your native language and learning abilities. Some may find Spanish easier due to its more regular grammar rules and familiar vocabulary for English speakers. However, others may find German easier due to its straightforward pronunciation and fewer verb forms. Ultimately, both languages have their own challenges and it can be subjective which one is easier for you.
they learn English spanish German and Chinese and polish

Easier than German ;). The grammar can be problematic.
Polish. Almost all people these days learn English, and most also learn German, Russian or other language.

The German-Polish border (after 1945) was often referred to as the Oder-Neisse Line.

Why not learn both? In this day and age, Chinese would probably be more help, but German's a heck of alot easier to learn. Start with German, and once you've wrapped your mind around learning a realtively easy language, move on the the much harder Chinese.
No. They are german.
'Learning difficulty' depends on the languages that you already know. It is not absolute. For example, if you have a good knowledge of Russian or any other Slavic language, you should find Ukrainian and Polish easy to learn. If you speak a Germanic language other than English (Danish, Dutch, etc.), German is definitely the easiest. If you speak a Romance language (Spanish, French, etc.), Romanian is easier. If you speak English, Romanian would also probably be easier, though German would be a close second.
