Arhar Dal, popularly known as Toor Dal is one of the most common dals in every Indian household. The reason that it is the best choice for families all over the country is because it has high protein content and a nutritious composition. If you’re looking for Organic Arhar or Toor Dal, choose Organic Tattva as their dal is made without any additives or toxins. I purchased Organic Tattva’s Organic Arhar Dal which is rich in iron, calcium and protein. Along with these nutrients, a bowl of Organic Toor Dal also contains dietary fibres, sodium and all the other nutrients that are required for your body.
Some types of dhal include chana dal (made from split chickpeas), toor dal (made from split pigeon peas), moong dal (made from split mung beans), and masoor dal (made from red lentils). These are commonly used in South Asian cuisine and are packed with protein and fiber.
Both urad dal and moong dal are different. I was recommended to have a bowl of urad dal during my pregnancy, as it is loaded with calcium, iron, folic acid, magnesium, and potassium. At first, I would just have a bowl because it was recommended, but after a couple of days, I could see a positive change. I felt healthier, and happier. The best part about Urad Dal is that it is easy to make, and it leaves a distinct taste on your palette. Since I have started enjoying the flavour and saw the results, I wanted to pick only the best for me and my baby. That’s when I stumbled upon Organic Tattva. Hands down, the Urad Dal grown and sold by them is the best I have ever tasted. I’d suggest Organic Tattva to anyone who wants to lead a happier life, while not compromising on the taste.

Add the onion to the toor dal. Slit the green chillies and add it to the toor dal. Add salt as per taste. Cook everything directly on the gas or in a pressure cooker. The dal preparation is ready. You can temper the dal with mustard seeds and curry leaves but this is optional.
