Well, I can tell you how you sign your examination for an ordinary degree in sign language. Firstly you have a two way conversation with another person. This is recorded on camera and the lecturer then reviews it afterwards. You also have an interpretive test. The lecturer signs to the class and you have to write down what he signs. For your examination you also have to tell a story to a panel of deaf people. They then ask you questions. I guess for your master's degree you have to do research on a certain aspect of sign language or deaf culture. You will then have to write a thesis and present this both in written form and some part of it in sign language. Obviously when you are doing your master's in sign language, you are already fluent in sign language!! ============================================================= Class, you recommend this? Don't waste money if failed because not experience hang out with deaf people.. I meant, OFTEN. How could hearings be so silly. If it is that simple, if it is that important, why would everyone not want to find out? See yourself in deaf culture. It doesn't cost you. I AM DEAF.
Aligning your index fingers together in sign language can represent the concept of "connection" or "agreement." It can also signify the idea of two entities coming together in unity or partnership.
