Are you sure you don't mean inflected?

Inflections are changes to the ends of words. We do it a bit in English, e.g. book, if you have more than one, becomes books. Similarly talk in the past becomes talked.

Some languages, e.g. French, have many more inflections than English. We had heaps 1000 years ago, but most of them have gradually disappeared.
