Something that catches your audience's attention in a fun, creative way.
Addendum:Having taught public speaking to eighth graders, let me offer some suggestions:Comedian Louis Black used to do this bit when he started his show. He would walk out on stage with a cup of coffee. He pulled sugar and creamer packets from his pocket, and doctored the coffee. He pulled a stirrer from his pocket and stirred the coffee. As he was stirring, he looked up as if he had just noticed the audience, and asked, "What? Like you go right to work when you get to the office?" That is what you want to communicate, that sense of relaxed.
Be the one in control, not the one controlled.
Do you mean ur a student and u hav to do a speech at the end of the school year? If you mean it like that then I think a good fifth grade speech should be hilarious, but serious at the same time. Because kids like me (I'm in fifth grade) love it when u can really understand us & not be the uptight teacher's pet or anything so if u mean it like this then u should just have some fun with it & a splash of seriousness OR... do you mean it like ur a student running for class president? If u mean it like this then it's pretty much like the 1st one. U should let the class know what u would improve and how u would help but u should also crack some jokes because when I was in 3rd grade we ran for class governor & my BFF won by being funny the whole way, but also saying tht she'd bring in candy :) Hope this helps ;)
He said that he would attempt to make a better grade.
The word "grade" can be used as both a noun and a verb. As a noun, it refers to a level or position on a scale, such as a letter grade in school. As a verb, it means to assess or evaluate the quality or performance of something.
No, 'grade level' should not be capitalized unless it is part of a title or at the beginning of a sentence.
No, "freedom of speech" should not be capitalized unless it is at the beginning of a sentence or part of a title.

A grade 7 student council speech should be around 1-2 minutes long. It should be engaging, concise, and include key points such as why you want to run for student council, your qualifications, and your goals if elected. Keep it short and to the point to maintain the audience's attention.

What I like about grade 7 is that is easier than any other grades higher than it, and you don't get much homework.
do the research on your own, its your speech. try wikipedia first.
A good 8th grade graduation speech should be inspiring, encouraging, and memorable. It should touch on the students' achievements, highlight the challenges they've overcome, and offer words of wisdom for their future. Remember to keep it positive, celebrate their accomplishments, and be genuine in your delivery.
