There are a lot of ways to put "use" in a sentence, because "use" can mean so many different things.

When you are describing an object that you have put into service. Like, "I use my ice scraper for my windshield after it snows."

To avail oneself of; practice: "To use caution."

To conduct oneself toward, treat or handle: "The peace offering of a man that used to treat you unkindly."

To seek or achieve an end by means of; exploit: "She used her husband in order to climb the social ladder."

To take or consume: "She used drugs as a means of self medicating."

It can also be used in the past tense, such as "She used to smoke, but she quit years ago."
