Thank. As in "I thank you for this opportunity" or "He thanks her for the flower."
You first need to travel to Tibet...once there, you can just say "Thank You"- but seriously...Tibetan is a Tibeto-Burman Language and is in many ways similar to Burmese. The script comes from Sanskrit and is more related to Hindi than to Chinese. The phonetic spelling of Thank you is: T'OO-JE-CHE.
The verb form of "thank" is "to thank."
"Thank" is a verb and noun. In the verb form: "I wanted her to thank her cousin for sending the books."
Thank comes from the same root as the modern German "danke". Both ultimately come from the proto-germanic *thankojan. To thank is actually related to the word "Think." They are from the same root it appears in fact - remember this the next time you say "thank you"!

I didn't think so either someone said they did a check on ancestry.com and they were related to both thats why I threw it out there she mentioned several others in the same context and I could not believe they were all related such as Audry Hepburn and Elvis...really? My thought was NO WAY and this is a confirmation of that. Thank you...
