On the WJ III assessment, the "Brief Achievement" measure provides a snapshot of an individual's academic skills across different subject areas, such as reading, math, and writing. It offers a summary of the individual's performance in relation to their age and grade level. This measure can be useful in quickly assessing academic strengths and weaknesses.
On the Woodcock-Johnson III (WJ-III), the three ranks below average are Low Average, Borderline, and Extremely Low.

Test in my field (psychology) usually means tools, materials, or protocols used for testing a hypothesis. Testing on the other hand is using a test material to evaluate or assess some construct such as IQ, personality structure, level of depression, etc. So, one may say, "Administer WJ-III Tests of Cognitive Abilities for testing the student's information processing problems." Testing in this context is an evaluation or assessment of the student's cognitive ability; test in this context is WJ-III Cog testing material. I'd like different opinion. Richard
The ZJ Grand is from the first ones in 1993 to 1998. You will notice that they are the same body style. The WJ is from 1999 to 2004 I hope this helps out..
