Not sure if you mean a belt (goes directly on your trousers) or suspenders (these go over your shoulders and hold the pants up by use of a pair of clips or buttons).

Not the proper way but I was in a hurry. Undo the terminals. Undo the screw that holds the battery retaining strap. Bend the retaining strap up and use the two handles to pull the battery out. then bend the strap down again so you can shut the bonnet. I just read somewhere that there's aremovableend piece to the battery housing. I'll have a looktomorrowwhen I putthebattery back. stupid design, strap should be hinged.
