This is a notoriously difficult smell to remove, however, you can try these options: If you can identify exactly where the cat sprayed, and the area is now dry, liberally apply bicarbonate of soda, leave for at least 24hrs and then vacuum off. Bicarbonate of soda is a very good odour eliminator. Use any cleaning product that doesn't contain ammonia (ammonia is a component of urine and the smell it leaves will encourage cats to come back to the same spot) then use orange oil to both cover any remaining smell and to discourage the cat from returning (for some reason they don't like the citrus scent).
