My grandparents springer spaniels are called Bruno (as in Frank Bruno the boxer), and Sumer. They are great names, for springer spaniels.
Sparky is also a good name. If your dog is liver and brown, you could call him/her liver. Maybe Blackie if he/she's black.
I have been asking that question for a while and then decided to create a list of Springer names. You can find it at: www.love-springer-spaniels.com/springer-spaniel-names.html:
There are over 470 names of springers belonging to other people just like you.
Yes
well a springer spaniel but if you don't want the same kind of dog.... Any kind of spaniel would be good.
There are many dog rescue organizations in London. One of the largest cocker spaniel rescue organization in London is CAESSR. This stands for the Cocker and English Springer Spaniel Rescue. There are many cocker and springer spaniels listed who are in need of good homes.
Yes Welsh Springer Spaniel are quite good in agility at least 9/10 is their grade. Welsh Springers can do a lot of tasks such as water retrieving, flushing, tracking and they can be good therapy dogs. But if you want dog for agility Welsh Springer Spaniel is awesome, and one good thing about them that there is no separate hunting and show line like in English Springers, also you can consider them as good potential, and some other breeds which makes excellent agility dogs from VIII. FCI group is Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever as well as Lagotto Romagnolo and Spanish Water dog.
Yes, I love English springer spaniels! I have an adorable one named Mickey. He is very playful and keeps us in shape. BELIEVE ME! He is very special to us and a #1 dog. The English springer spaniel is a very lovable breed and a good house pet!

Red eyes in an English Springer Spaniel can indicate several issues, such as allergies, irritations, or infections. Conditions like conjunctivitis or dry eye can also lead to redness. It's important for dog owners to consult a veterinarian if they notice persistent redness, as timely diagnosis and treatment are crucial for their pet's health. Regular eye checks and maintaining good hygiene can help prevent these issues.
The English Cocker is described as merry and affectionate with an equable disposition. He's playful, trainable, and friendly toward people (although sometimes reserved with strangers) and other dogs. English Cockers will bark to let you know someone's approaching, so they're good watchdogs, but as typical spaniels they'll happily show the burglar where the silver is. for more details: http://dogtime.com/dog-breeds/english-cocker-spaniel/personality
For grooming a Springer Spaniel, commonly used clipper blade sizes include #10 or #7F for the body, as these provide a good balance between length and ease of maintenance. The #5 or #4 blades can be used for areas that require more length, such as the legs and ears. It's important to also use a comb attachment for finishing touches and to ensure a smooth finish. Regular grooming helps keep their coat healthy and reduces matting.
I was wondering the same thing and I have been doing some research and I think that once a month is good! Monty my Springer sometimes gets a bit of a "Doggy" smell to him and thats when i wash him. If you wash them too often you wash the oils out of their skin and it makes their coat dull and not healthy looking. Hope this helped!
What is black and white, black and white, black and white, black and blue? A nun falling down the stairs.
