i have an akita and he is a very tame and calm dog..i dont think that they are dangerous depending on the way the owner treats the dog but my answer to you question is No they are not dangerous! Hope this helps you out!} === Akitas are Strong because they are bred to hunt and carry stuff in the ancient world of Japan. There are Japanese Akitas and American AKitas. American Akitas have gray, and black color. And Japanese akitas have red/white, white , and black.
Giant Akitas look like giant Akitas. So do wolves.
According to my teacher Akitas cry before they attack
Akitas are taller and heavier than Huskies. Here's more about them, http://dogtime.com/siberian-husky.html http://dogtime.com/akita.html
shut up and take a guess
Yes, if you want a strong dog.
One movie is "Bittersweet" about a dog's loyalty to it's master
American, i have 3 American Akitas they are beautifully, friendly, loyal dogs. If i had to choose a breed get an American akita defenlity!also if you wach the movie call hachi you can see what it looks like the dog that plays the role is a butiful akita.
From what I've read up on they average from 130 to 160pounds but I've seen some get 200pounds but my guess is that they're older overweight akitas.
What makes American pit bulls so dangerous is the strength of the dog. It is a very aggressive dog (mainly due to the upbringing and owner) , and it tends to bite a lot.
Black chows, akitas, even Newfoundlands resemble bears.
That's a crock. Pitbulls are no more dangerous than any other breed of dog - statistically, it's your pointy eared dogs (German Shepherds, Akitas, Huskies/Malamutes, etc.) which are more likely to attack.
Akitas can be good with kids if properly socialized and trained from a young age. However, they have a strong guarding instinct and may not tolerate rough play, so they may be better suited to households with older children who understand how to interact with a dog respectfully. Supervision is always recommended when Akitas are around children.
