Any dog would be good with cats, as long as it is raised around them from the puppy stage. Some breeds wouldn't even need that to behave properly around cats, you just have to be firm with the dog if it does something wrong, and let the cats take care of themselves when you're not around.

Chinese Crested dogs can get along well with big dogs, but it largely depends on the individual personalities and temperaments of both dogs. Early socialization and proper introductions are key to fostering positive interactions. While some Chinese Cresteds are confident and assertive, others may be timid, so it's important to monitor their interactions to ensure safety and comfort for both. Always supervise playtime to prevent any accidental harm, given the size difference.
It is not good the allow cats wonder in the kitchen because the cats hairs can spread around the kitchen and the might have flees that might go into the food and also if the cats were sick it might spread on to someones food and make them sick so be carefully!!!
It all depends on what the personality of the dog is like. =)
