Are Great Danes kid friendly

I have a dane/boxer mix and he is great with kids. he learned sign langauge at a young age and is now 19 months and still remembers it. He sometimes thinks he's a lapdog and is very hyper and clumsy. But i do recomend the breed.

With supervision, absolutely. The Great Dane is one of the gentlest mannered dogs you could ever wish to own. But, and this is a BIG but: they are BIG. And that means that the slightest accidental 'bump' from these wonderful creatures can knock a toddler flying, and maybe cause injury--you must keep this in mind if you have very small children.

They make good pets but sometimes the are hyper but You can train them to not be so hyper around childs.

yup they are 100% fantastic with children. usually they will not mind children pulling their ears or falling over them by accident :)
