well they are omnivores so they eat fruit but they eat meat to the chase smaller monkeys with young males and some times females then the big chimps surround and kill the smaller ones so yes and a chimp is not a monkey is an ape

Chimps are not monkeys at all. They are primates, yes, but they belong in a separate group from monkeys. They have no tails, for one thing, and they are more advanced than monkeys intellectually and physically. Chimps are about the size of a four year old human child, so they're larger than most monkeys.
