Are dachsunds good pets

All Dachshunds are good companions, they are really sensitive tho and don't like loud things, they do bark a lot if they hear someone walking (if you live in an apartment) but their worth everything! One of the downers about have a Dachshund is they can develop a back issue if they jump the wrong way and they are not aloud to walk up and down the stairs, but they are 100% worth it, sweetest dogs ever, and lap dogs & great with kids. It's crazy because people who hate dogs love my little Dachshund she's the sweetest thing ever and brings a smile to everyones face, my papaw had my dog until he passed away since I couldn't keep her where we lived and I'd have to say I truly believe she kept him going for as long as should could

I long haired dachshund is a dachshund with long hair. They tend to shed more hair than a short haired dacshund and also a long haired dachsund also need lots of grooming!!!
