Are jack Russel terriers good pets?

Yes, they're great little dogs. Loyal, fun and feisty, and can be great with children.

but sometimes they can be a little devil they are so energetic tht they will try to run away and you have to at least take them on 3 walks a day other thn that they are really good pets!

Jack Russell's Make great pets when they are in the right hands. They are very loyal and loving towards their family. When it comes to strangers and strange dogs they show no fear and can sometimes be aggressive. They provide great companionship and are also great with kids. They love to run and play and are a very obedient, intelligent breed of dog. I would recommend a jack Russell but not to a first time owner.

I know this because my family have always kept jack russell's and now i have my own his name is billy XD

Not for small kids under 5 or 6. The reason is, that Jack Russells are very strong for their size, and they play hard. Even if they are just playing around, they could easily knock a small child over accidentally and hurt him. Once a kid is large enough to handle a roughhousing terrier, they are fantastic dogs!

Jack Russells are fantastic family pets :)

They can get along with children very well depending on how the master treats the dog and the dogs environment. Every dog has a different personality and you can definately see it in a JRT

I have a 2 year old JRT with me and he is very stubborn but wonderful and very loyal, follows me round the house and does some housework ;)

They are great pets! They are all different though. They all have very different and identifyable personalities. But, great pets!

yes i have a jack Russell very good dog they like to play lots and good with other small dogs and cats

Only if you like house training being bit and being scratched alot. Mine gets in the trash can 24/7
