What is the difference between a Dwarf Hippo and a Pygmy Hippo?

Pygmy Rabbits are rabbits. This answer assumes that the "rabbit" mentioned in the question is in reference to the European Rabbit, i.e. pet rabbits. Some differences between the Pygmy Rabbit and the European Rabbit are: Pygmy Rabbits are native to North America, while European Rabbits are native to Europe. Pygmy Rabbits are not domesticated; European Rabbits are wild in their native habitats, but they've also been domesticated and brought all over the world. Sometimes they're bred for food, sometimes for scientific research, and sometimes for companionship (as pets). Pygmy Rabbits are all very small, about 1 pound fully grown. European Rabbits come in a variety of sizes: there are 2 pound dwarfs, 11 pound giants, and everything in between. Pygmy Rabbits only come in one colour and one pattern, a stripey greyish-brown; European Rabbits come in a variety of colours and patterns, like all black, or white with red eyes, or bluish-grey, or buff-coloured, or white with black nose and ears, or brown "dutch" pattern, etc.

What are some fun fact about pygmy rabbits?

Pygmy rabbits are the smallest rabbit species in North America, weighing only about 1 to 3 pounds and measuring around 9 to 12 inches long. They are unique because they dig extensive burrow systems, often using their strong hind legs to create deep tunnels in soft soil. These rabbits have a specialized diet primarily consisting of sagebrush, which they rely on for food and cover in their natural habitat. Additionally, pygmy rabbits have a distinctive appearance with their short ears and fluffy tails, making them quite adorable!
