Maned Wolf
They are both the same kind of wolves, just two different names. The biggest wolves are the artic wolves (these are also gray and timber wolves, just with a different name). Artic wolves can weigh over 200 pounds.
Dire wolves were larger and more robust than gray wolves, with an average weight of about 110 pounds compared to gray wolves' typical 70 to 100 pounds. They had a broader skull and stronger jaws, adapted for hunting large prey like megafauna. Unlike gray wolves, which are still extant and social animals, dire wolves lived during the Pleistocene epoch and are now extinct. Additionally, dire wolves had different dental structures, reflecting their specialized diet, which was distinct from that of gray wolves.
Because we hunt them for their pelt and to "protect" livestock and herds of moose, caribou, and deer that are far more plentiful than the gray wolf already. The world needs wolves.
Like minosota or Canada they don't live in complete icelands like grey wolves do they live where there's more green than white
Grey wolves feed on mostly and animal that is smaller than it or one than is already dead.
no because they are just different colors
no. Some have been able to train wolves. Some wolves can be more aggressive than others and wolves would take way more time to train and it would be harder to take care of them than dogs. Wolves are really more afraid of humans than we are to them! A wolf may attack a human to protect his/her family because it could think the human could hurt or kill the wolves family! Wolves will go to a farm to kill some sheep, cows, goats and others for survival if there's a lack of food and there hungry. Many farmers will kill wolves because of this but wolves are only doing this to survive.
Gray wolves typically do not prey on adult bears, as they are generally too large and powerful. However, they may scavenge on bear carcasses or occasionally target bear cubs if the opportunity arises. In ecosystems where bears and wolves coexist, wolves primarily focus on smaller ungulates and other prey rather than actively hunting bears.
The male gray wolf can grow to the weight of 95 to 99 pounds. The weight of a female wolf is 79 to 85 pounds. There have been more books written about wolves than any other type of wildlife.
Wolves don't hurt, injure, or kill their own kind, especially their own young.
Mexican wolves are the smallest sub species of the Gray wolf, they look very much like the European wolf, and are no bigger than an average German Shepherd. To see a picture, and find out more about Mexican wolves, please see related links below..
Probably because grandmas are more likely to attack you than wolves
