No they can only get vitamins from eating sausages
It cannot synthesise its own food and is dependent on organic substances for nutrition
There are some animal sources of vitamin C but that is usually the liver since most animals synthesise their own (unlike humans which need to supplement it). This is why we need to eat fruits and vegetables to get our vitamin C since most of us eat muscle meat which is not a good source of vitamin C. An egg which has not been developed will not have any vitamin C as it is not yet a living creature and does not need or synthesise it's own. A cow's milk has no Vitamin C since cows synthesise their own vitamin C, but human milk does contain it since we do not and our babies will need the supplemental vitamin C.
Yes. There is elephants. HeeHee I Answered My Own Question!
There are many elephants that are smarter than some humans, also, although humans are the smartest species on this planet, we are the only species that kill our own kind for sport. All animals kill for food and to protect themselves from predators, but they never kill off their own kind.
No. Elephants eat leaves off of trees.
NBTY makes their own vitamins.
No.
no
Humans have unique vitamin requirements compared to other animals because our bodies cannot produce certain essential vitamins on their own, so we must obtain them from our diet. This is different from many animals that can synthesize these vitamins internally.
No, not true. Confusion may arise because dogs can synthesise their own Vitamin C so do not require outside sources of this particular vitamin. All the others they need to get from their food just like us.
Heterotrophic organisms cannot synthesise their own food. They are dependent on autotrophic organisms(i.e. plants)for their food
In most places, it is not legal for individuals to own elephants as pets due to regulations on exotic animal ownership and the specialized care required for elephants.
