NO. Lions are carnivores that kill and hunt animals that are bigger than them, while gorillas do is to sit and do nothing. In fact, lions are much heavier and have more strength to kill than a gorilla would. Lions have sharper canines than gorillas, and also sharp claws that can kill.
Silverbacks weigh approximately 150 to 200 kg (310 to 440 lb).
The tallest silverback gorilla ever was a 6 ft. 4.38 in. tall mountain bull shot in alimbongo, northern kivu in 1938
Silverback gorillas are about 20 times stronger than humans. Although the precise strength of a silverback has never been recorded, this number is based off the size and amount of muscle tissue the gorilla has.
After much discussion between myself and many of my fellow citizens we have come to the conclusion that the grizzy bear would quite simply destroy the silverback. Although the silverback is stronger and has apposeble thumbs the grizzly has razor sharp claws and theeth. If it's a matter of weight all my resources have said that they weigh about the same, anywhere between 500-700 LBS. Plus the grizzly is faster and quicker to react than the silverback.
I can't find any cockney slang called "gorilla" but a monkey is 500 pounds.
The weight of a golden lion tamarin is 500 to 600 grams
PET LION?!?!?!?
A gorilla typically grows to be around 4 to 6 feet tall and can weigh between 300 to 500 pounds.
