In some cases, yes. Some dogs, and even other animals have been known to pine when a loved one (their owner, or other dog) passes away. Some dogs grieve so much that they do not eat, so die from lack of sustenance.

health-wise i do not think so but it usually makes you feel much better. i recently lost my dog and crying helps a lot
She's crying because she is in heat and it's in her nature to breed. Either let her mate or get her fixed so that she doesn't have these urges.
