Teacup poodles do not come from standard poodles directly; rather, they are typically bred from miniature poodles. However, the term "teacup" is more of a marketing label than a formally recognized breed category, and some breeders may use smaller poodles from various sizes to achieve the desired small size. It's important to note that breeding extremely small poodles can pose health risks, and responsible breeding practices are essential for the well-being of the dogs.
Standard poodles can grow to be tall and beautiful. They range from 15 and a half inches from the top of their back (shoulder) which is a small standard to 27 inches tall. They have thick coats with long ears and webbed feet.
Poodles originated in Germany.
they usually come in 3 sizes: Toy, Miniature, and standard. there are some debates about weather there is another size called teacup.
Technically there is no such thing as a "teacup" poodle, only toy poodles that people have severely bred smaller. As a general rule of thumb for any "teacup" breed, the smaller the dog is the more health problems and vet bills you will have. Now, naturally, there are exceptions, but I've known people who have spent $1200 on a tiny dog only to spend thousands more throughout it's life to keep it alive. But back to your question, what do you mean by kind? What kind of color? They can come in just about any solid color you would associate with a dog, plus those that are called parti-colored (i.e. white with black spots). What kind of poodle? A poodle is a poodle regardless, only the size is different (Toy, Miniature, Standard). I'm not sure what other "kind" of question there would be. Poodle Breeder
Toy poodles are the cutest little things. Most have the shorter little legs, long ears if left to grow the hair long. Curly fur, short nose, cropped off tail usually. Toy poodles measure 10 inches and under.
Toy Poodles, as a breed, were established and standardised in England. There is evidence to say very small poodles have existed before in other countries though, but the breed was formally established in the UK.The Toy Poodle breed was standardised in England.
A poodle is a curly haired dog that does not shed it's fur. It is hypoallergenic and is a good choice for allergy sufferers. They require regular grooming and need to be taken care of. They require a lot of love and attention and exercise. They love to play but are prone to inherited illnesses just like other pedigree dog breeds. Poodles come in 3 recognized sizes. The standard, miniature and the toy. There is also a tiny toy and a teacup poodle but these are not recognized breeds but are poodles. They come in a variety of colors. Black, brown, apricot, parti colors, white, and Grey. A poodle is a curly haired/furred? dog. It has different varieties of colors. Pink, black, brown, white. It's fur is curly, and it is a great dog for people who are allergic to dogs or cats. They do not shed.
Teacup poodles will eat standard dog food. Dry of wet. It depends on your preference as well as the teacup poodle. As a rule of thumb, a well known and recommend brand of food is usually best. Always check the ingredients as a lot of "meat flavoured" food does not contain much meat, only around 6% which is extremely low. If you come across this, try a different brand of food which is slightly more expensive. Myself, I feed my poodles Nature diet and it's extremely "safe" in the sense that it does not contain any known allergens so it limits the chance of your dog having a reaction. It is also not expensive and you can usually purchase it from more reputable pet stores. Also, as its a teacup you will need to feed him or her small portions several times a day. I am not certain of the portion size as I have miniatures and not teacups. But your Vet or Veterinary Nurse or a reputable pet store will be able to advise you on portion size.I hope this helped. :-)
Toy poodles come in many colors. Be careful though because the color can change after 6 weeks of age. Colors that a poodle could be are; white, apricot, cream, brown, black, silver, party (multi colors) and reds.
I do believe there's a few but tea cup poodles come to mind first. They are curly and come in a few colors including brown.
The poodle is originally from Germany, where it was known as the "Pudelhund"; pudeln "to splash about" + Hund "dog". The dogs were formerly trained as a water retrievers.
Yes, Cockapoos can come in any colours that an American Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle comes in, and Poodles can have an apricot coloured coat.
