West Highland White Terriers (Westies), like most dogs, can see some colors but not as vividly as humans do. They are dichromatic, meaning they primarily see shades of blue and yellow, while red and green appear more muted or grayish to them. This limited color vision is due to the types of cone cells in their eyes, which are different from those in human eyes. Overall, while they may not see the full spectrum of colors, they can still perceive contrasts and movements effectively.
