Can my cat that is 17 1/2 yrs. old survive stomache tumors
He passed away sadly because he had a tumor in his stomach.
idk i am worried cause my cat has the same thing... i hope its not cancer... :( Edit: That really depends on what you mean by "lump." Is it inside or outside? When you say "near his stomach" do you mean his ribcage? What you should do is take him to the vet for a check-up. He could have a stomach tumor, it could be that you're just feeling his bowels (which was what it turned out to be with my cat), he could have worms (you would see it in his stool if he had worms), or maybe a hairball (it happens, right?). It could also just be a pimple or a knot. You can't be sure until you have him checked out.
A cat's stomach changes its shape and size according to its fullness. Empty, an adult cat's stomach is about the size of a small human fist. It stretches as the cat eats.
A cat has only one stomach.
no, or your cat will rip your stomach out to get it.
A tumor, go to the vet.
Good question. An opossums stomach is about an inch and a half.
Yes and no if the older cat has been treated for worms it would not happen but if older cat had not been treated yes it will Hope this help
An older cat.
Common symptoms of a tumor on a cat's tail may include swelling, lumps, or changes in the skin. Treatment options may include surgical removal of the tumor, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy. It is important to consult with a veterinarian for proper diagnosis and treatment.
if your cat has blood on its stomach ...i guess it is best 2 wash it off...and if it is something serious, take it to a vet.
A cat's stomach should not be hard. You should have it examined by a veterinarian as quickly as possible.
