Yes, a dog can. A dog can carry almost any illness or sickness a human can carry. I have found several cases were one of my patients was carrying a stomach virus.

Mammals in most cases are susceptible to the same viruses.
Dogs do catch some viruses that are contagious to humans, and vice versa. Even though dogs can share illnesses with their owners, it is not possible for a dog to share his flu (or any other illness that causes an upst stomach) with you.
There is a very good chance you will catch it. The stomach virus is very very contagious, so if you are with them for a long time you will probably contract the bacteria that causes it.
Dogs do not get a "stomach virus" flu like people do so, if your dog is having vomiting and/or diarrhea, there is some other reason. Your dog needs to see his/her Veterinarian.
The dogs do it to make them sick to get the virus out of there stomach just leave them too it it wont do them any harm
Having a stomach virus does not mean that the virus is in the stomach. Few germs could live in the acid there. What stomach virus refers to is a virus infection in the entire body that happens to cause nausea and expulsion of the stomach's contents and also diarrhea in the intestines.
Yes. I usually catch my dog eating it, that's when i know shes sick.

can you catch a virus in 24 hours
No. There are no cases of dogs having the HIV virus. That said, sex with animals (bestiality) is a serious crime in most countries round the world.
You can catch a stomach bug by not washing your hands and you can catch it from a friend or family member.
Generally no. There are a few types of illnesses shared between people and animals but a stomach virus isn't one of them. Pets have a natural body temperature of 101.5 so viruses and bacteria that thrive in our bodies can not do so in theirs and vis-versa. They have their own illnesses as we have ours. We can't give them a stomach flu or catch theirs.
