Can guinea pigs sleep in a garage?

That depends entirely on what a 'garge' is.

If you are asking whether or not they can sleep in a garage then that would depend on the environment within. Guinea pigs should be kept in a relatively warm (no colder than 15 degrees Celsius) environment . The temperature should not get too hot, though― too much more than 25°C and your poor little cavy runs the risk of heat exhaustion. He's also going to need some soft bedding (think wood chips).

If the garage is climate-controlled, this should not be a problem, but most unfinished garages are too hot or too cold for a guinea pig to live comfortably in.

If you wouldn't be comfortable sleeping in the garage, your guinea pig won't be, either. Better to keep him in a proper pen inside the house.

Guinea pigs will be perfectly fine spending all day and night outdoors, under the right conditions. Remember their natural habitat is not a room within a house, but the open grass lands of Chile and Peru.

Guinea pigs can be taken by people, eaten or attacked, or even just scared by animals. Bugs can infest them and their food, they can easily get heat stroke or get too cold, and so on.

Thus, in order to keep Guinea pigs outside safely, their pen should be secured against unwanted visitors. This includes a fence dug in at least 4 inches deep, and a roof (at least in form of chicken wire), which should be secured with a weight or a bolt so that cats, dogs or foxes can't get in.

The area should be reasonably secured against human vandals, just like you'd secure your back garden.

You should also give them good shelter against the elements (rain, direct sunshine and wind). It's OK to keep them outside in a mild winter, so long as they are sheltered from the wind, are dry and have plenty of hey. They shouldn't be exposed to temperatures below freezing however, as their ears and feet aren't well insulated.

Yes, as long as the garage isn't occupied by a car. If it is, then this is not a safe environment for your guinea pig to live in because the fumes from the car will poison your guinea pig, which could lead to a fatality.
