Can you flea bathe a kitten?

well you can bathe baby kittens i meen it cant really hert the cat, and even though they bathe themselves they dont always get the germs, such as those nastey pieces of kitten poop or littter between those paws you never no if its really clean. so yes u can bathe a kitten. it pretty much depends on the cat alot of people do bathe cats and some people dont, it just depends. No, you should never bathe kittens, leave that to the mother cat to do cats unlike dogs cannot swim.

NO , if you do this most animals can possibly reject their baby, and either kill it or not feed it and then it will die , the baby's have their mothers scent on them and this is what they recognize, if you wash it the scent will fade, it may not recognize it as its baby.

if its totally unavoidable then wash it but you should wipe it in something that smells of its mother after and im not sure if that actually will work so again, dont just do it because you want to.

when they are older its fine, to wash them, preferably over 7 months old.

It's not a nice ordeal, but the only way is by holding them by the scruff off there neck. The best idea is to just shower them and wash them with a flea shampoo.

Don't use a shower. It'll freak the cat out because they have an instinct not to drown and water pouring down on them in quantity sets of the panic response... If you have a tub, get in the tub, hold the kitten on your legs as you sit in the bath with a towel over your legs. allow the kitten to be submerged to the neck to wet, shampoo with a mild flea shampoo or a flea shampoo mixed with normal shampoo (ratio 50/50) as kittens are sensitive (yes like babies). To wash the head and neck, cup water on the head and neck to wet careful to keep it out of their nose and mouth then lather them up, again, nose and eyes.

This should get all the fleas! Towel them off gently and you'll have a happy kitten in a few hours! As a side note, this is incredibly bonding to the kitten. Good luck!

One home remedy that I have used successfully is a simple flea comb. A flea will drown in soapy water. The method involves a glass of soapy water, a small flea comb, and grooming your pet. Simply comb the animal, put the comb(with fleas) in the glass, swish, and continue. It does not harm the cat and fleas are physically removed.
