This is certainly possible, as long as both dogs have brindle parentage somewhere in there ancestry. For example, if one of the parents was brindle, or maybe even one of the grandparents, they could have brindle puppies. This is because darker colours are more dominant and so are likely to recur again in later generations. For this reason, it is very possible that two fawn Boxers could have a few brindle puppies in the litter. Of course, for a bigger chance of having brindle puppies - use a brindle parent.

What is the name of a boxer dog that has different colors?

There are several different color categories for boxers. Fawn boxers are a light brown color. They can be solid fawn or have white and/or black markings. Brindle boxers have stripes of fawn and dark brown. They too can have white markings. When a boxer is more than 40% white they are considered white boxers even though they will have fawn markings or spots. There is also a rare reverse brindle where the fawn stripes are much more prominent than the dark brown.

Are reverse brindle boxers usually more expensive?

Reverse brindle boxers can often be more expensive than standard brindle boxers due to their unique coloration, which is less common. Breeders may charge a premium for rare colorations, and demand can influence prices as well. However, the overall cost can also depend on factors like the dog's lineage, health testing, and breeder reputation.

The same as any other bulldog only they will have a muddy-brown coat color/pattern instead of say pure fawn or red. The color Brindle in dogs can greatly range from a fawn, red, or brown base coat with the classic dark markings and streaks qualifying it as brindle in color. Why doesn't AKC recognize the black boxer dogs?

The American Kennel Club (AKC) does not recognize black boxers as a distinct color because they are considered a deviation from the breed standard. According to the AKC, the accepted colors for boxers are fawn and brindle. Black boxers are often the result of a genetic mutation or a mix with other breeds, which leads to their exclusion from official breed recognition. This policy is rooted in maintaining breed integrity and adherence to established standards.
