Definitely! Bunnies are just like us as in they need food and water, but not necessarily the same kind of food as us!

If you go down to your local pet store they will have bunny/rabbit drinking bottles which you can just attach to the side of the cage for them to drink out. You could also use a dish for water (as you would for a cat or dog). Some rabbits prefer one over the other, and in order to encourage them to drink enough water, you should give them whichever they prefer. Dehydration can lead to gut impaction in bunnies, and you definitely want to avoid that!

If you use a bowl and your rabbit likes to throw things, make sure to use either a heavy ceramic crock that the rabbit can't throw, or else use a metal dish that won't break when thrown.

Whatever you use, make sure you wash the bowl/bottle daily and replace the water daily -- don't just top it up because the water will turn stale and it won't taste nice, and the rabbit won't want to drink it. Pay especially attention to cleaning the nozzle on a bottle, if you use one, because it can develop mould and/or rust.

Is it better to have a Water bowl or water bottle for rabbits?

It's fine to have either, but water bowls are usually less hygienic than water bottles as rabbits dirty the water quite quickly (sitting in it, urinating and pooping in it!). Rabbits also have the tendency to tip over bowls of water. Water bottleskeep the water clean for longer and saves you the job of constantly cleaning and refilling a bowl.

How do you water rabbits?

Rabbits can drink water from bowls and bottles. Some rabbits prefer one or the other. Some rabbits like to throw their dishes around, so if you use a bowl, choose a heavy ceramic crock without a rim for the rabbit to grab onto. It's very important rabbits drink a lot of water because it promotes good health and helps prevent serious illness. Your rabbit should have access to clean, fresh, cold water all the time, 24/7. Ideally, give your rabbit two water sources, one bowl and one bottle, that way they have a choice.
