Pet marmosets are permitted in the UK.

Bear in mind, however, that marmosets are not pets: they are intelligent, unpredictable and social animals and are difficult and expensive to look after. Unless you can keep them in top quality zoo conditions, including indoor and outdoor enclosures, enclosure designs, maintaining and controlling social groups, nutrition, evacuation procedures in emergencies, procedures in case of escape, etc, then you shouldn't own one. Too many such animals have been abused by being kept in neglectful conditions, and the RSPCA deals with many such abused animals that have developed health disorders or neurotic behaviour as the result of being kept as exotic pets by people who had simply no understanding of the animals' needs.
